Welcome to Premier Diving’s training section. We offer a wide range of PADI courses. The PADI training system is known around the world and our instructional staff are all members of PADI – the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. The Premier Diving Team has worked in the UK dive training industry for a number of years and also has plenty of experience recreational diving around the world. We have seen some of the best and the worst that is offered in SCUBA diving courses and have mercilessly cribbed all of the best bits to go into the delivery of our PADI courses. We aim to offer you high quality training that you will find to be fun, interesting, well structured and delivered at your pace. Hopefully you will be bitten, like we all were, with the diving bug. You are warned it can be seriously addictive and we hope you find our enthusiasm for this exhilarating sport infectious!
We will deliver courses in small groups so you are guaranteed the full attention of our dive instructional staff. Safety is paramount to us – yours and ours – so we will always have more than the minimum number of safety divers required when we take you on your courses.
Diving is for everyone from 8 to – well – there is no real upper age limit – providing you have reasonable health. You don’t have to be Olympian swimmers to dive – but basic fitness is necessary and we will ask you to complete a self-assessment medical questionnaire before beginning a course. A PDF file containing the medical questionnaire may be downloaded on the forms page.

HSE Medicals
A Health and Safety Executive (HSE) medical is required on an annual basis for all commercial divers (this includes all PADI professionals engaged in teaching).
A shorter sports diving medical is required by all BSAC divers and PADI divers who answer yes to any question on the PADI medical questionnaire.
Two HSE qualified doctors work in the same building as our dive facility and are available for both medicals and advice should it be required.
