PADI Divemaster – Cost £395

 

What is it?

 

A PADI Divemaster is the first rung on the PADI Professional ladder. Once certified as a Divemaster you can assist PADI Instructors with training student divers. You can supervise diving activities for certified divers, snorkelers and skin divers. As a Divemaster you will strongly influence the safety and fun divers enjoy during their training and diving.

 

 

Can anyone do it? Are there any pre-requisites?

 

You must already be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent from another training organisation), have at least 20 logged dives showing experience of deep and underwater navigation to start the course and at least 60 dives before certification and have evidence of CPR and first aid training. You must be at least 18 years of age.
